This business can be duplicated anywhere in the world, where there is a sufficiently large base of small and medium sized businesses who are your prospective advertisers. The territory can be a city, county or even the whole state. You need about 100 advertisers to finish a map and make good money.

Our Goal

Our goal is to accept applications & assign territories to individuals, couples or even existing businesses who are very interested in starting a full time cartoon map publishing business, and help them succeed by guiding them through the steps of selling the ads (general guidance and advice like who are your best prospects, how to approach, present and sell the ad, what needs to be done after they sign up and pay to enable us design the ad and email it to the customer for proof, etc.), preparing the maps for publishing, etc.

How much money can one make per map?

In general, our 24 x 36 2 sided cartoon maps can hold up to 100 ads, even up to a max of 110 ads, depending on the size ads you sell. Assume you sell an average mix of large and small and end up with 100 ads at an average price of $350 (the price of a business card size ad). The total projected income would be 100 ads x $350=$35,000. The deal we are offering is that YOU keep 50% of the sales proceeds for your effort and pay us the other 50% for designing the ads, having the customer proof it by email or mail, putting the map together (from physical street maps you send to us), drawing the map in cartoon, having you proof it (to find any typos, errors, etc), printing 12,000 maps and shipping them to you.

How much money can be made per week?

It has taken us anywhere from 5 up to a max of 16 weeks to sell 100 ads. On the average, it took us around 8-12 weeks with one person selling the ads in a certain territory. In some communities, the businesses are more excited about having a cartoon map than in others, and so it takes less time to finish ad sales.

For sake of conversation, assume it takes you 17 weeks or 4 months. This means you need to sell 100 ads in 17 weeks and generate a total of $35,000 in sales. You keep 50% or $17,500. It means you make $1,000 a week net, since we cover the other expenses like designing the ads, drawing the map, printing and shipping 12,000 maps to you using our 50% share.

If you finish the sale of the 100 ads in say 12 weeks. You will be making $1458 a week. If you finish it in 10 weeks, you will be making $1750 a week, and so on.
 

How many maps a year can one do?

Assuming the worst scenario that it takes you 4 months to sell 100 ads per map, you can publish 3 maps a year. Of course, you can redo the same map over but, better yet, we suggest you to do THEME maps! Example:

Map #1 is of the city or county you are in. We call it THE NEWCOMER & VISITOR CARTOON MAP.

Map #2 is a GOLF MAP of the whole area: city, county or even state. Other theme maps: SUMMER FUN map (covers boating, fishing, camping, hiking, etc, basically summer activities), WINTER FUN map (if you are in a state where there are skiing, etc. you could do that), etc.

Map #3: you do another city or county! So you can do Map #1 of City A, then Map #2 of City B, Map #3 of City C, and then go back and redo City A and so on.
